Today I am going to share top 5 neck exercises for neck pain with you which you as Neck pain has become very common now a days due to lifestyle change and long working hours on computer. So t. Some of this exercise are so simple and effective that you will feel instant relief in neck pain.

If we say that our head is the main part of body then neck is the bridge between head and entire body. Many surveys has proved that ignoring neck can lead to severe neck pain. So to fight this pain today i will show you some simple neck exercises for neck pain.

1) Yes and No Neck Exercise

This is the most simple neck exercises for neck pain, in this exercise you have to sit straight with your back upright, shoulder should be relaxed. Now keeping your head straight start moving your head from right to left and from left to right in slow speed, as if you are saying “No” to someone. Repeat this steps for 5-7 times. Now coming to normal position, by keeping your head straining move it up and down slowly, while bringing down try to touch your chest with your chin, as if you are saying “Yes” to someone, follow this steps for 5-7 times and then relax.

By repeating above neck exercise for neck pain you will feel instant relief in your neck pain.

2) Rotate your Head

Sit in the same position like you did in Yes and No Neck Exercise, bring your head down making your chin touch your chest and then start moving your head in circular motion from left to right, do this left to right rotation for around 5-7 times and then do it in reverse order from right to left. This is another simple neck exercises for neck pain.

3) Bird Wings Exercise

Sometime neck pain is not actually due to neck movement, but due to improper body posture and shoulder and hands movement, this exercise will help you to ease your back muscle which are joining your neck muscle and will give a relief in neck pain. To do this neck pain exercise, stand up straight with your back and head straight. Now lift your hands and hold them horizontally with you palms facing the sky on sideways of your body. Now very very slowly twist your hand upside down, you will see that effect of this twist will also be seen in your back below your neck. Don’t twist your hands much or else it will increase pain instead of pain relief in neck. This is another neck exercises for neck pain which you can do on daily basis.

4) Tilt Head Exercise

This is one of the easiest neck exercise for neck pain that you can perform even on your office chair. To do this exercise sit straight in your chair with your back and head straight. Now slowly tilt your head towards your shoulder, while doing so keep the opposite shoulder down, hold your head for 5-10 seconds in this position, now repeat the same exercise in opposite direction.

5) Shoulder Rolls

Many time neck pain is not due to neck but due to shoulders wrong movement. In this exercise sit upright with your head straight and slowly start lifting your shoulders and then rotating them from backward to forward. Do this exercise for 5-7 times. This is another quick neck exercises for neck pain which can give you quick relief in neck pain.

Though there are many other neck exercises for neck pain, but the one that I have shared above are really handy exercise and can be considered as home remedy for neck pain.
